Rio Amazon Graviola Leaf Powder has been prepared from the leaves of the Graviola (Annona muricata) plant - a small evergreen tree that is native to the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas of the Americas. Also known as Soursop, the large, dark green leaves are becoming increasingly well known as a source of antioxidants called annonaceous acetogenins.

The Graviola tree is not just known for its antioxidant-rich leaves but also for the large, heart-shaped edible fruits that it produces. These exotic, yellow-green fruits are approximately 15 - 23cm in diameter, and in Brazil the fruit's juice is extracted to make a popular drink known as Guanábana.
