Francis Hartridge's Celebrated Root Beer is made using only natural flavourings and sparkling spring water. It does not contain any artificial colourings or preservatives.

They say "Originally formulated during American Colonial times, Root Beer was first commercially introduced to the public in 1876 in Philadelphia, U.S.A. My great grandfather Francis Hartridge was a brewer in America during this time and certainly would have tasted and experimented with other early root beers. The Root Beer has been adapted from Francis' early experiences from America with its subtle flavours."
