Minvita Organic GABA Rice Red is a natural hybrid of Hom Mali rice. Naturally-coloured rice varieties tend to have naturally high levels of antioxidants and vitamin E, but Red Jasmine Rice is renowned for being especially good for those who are suffering from or are concerned about diabetes.

Organic Wholegrain Hom Mali Rice

Add 50g of rice with 350mls of water (can be adjusted).
Rinsing not needed.
Place rice and water together in a pot with a lid.
Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to simmer and cook for 40 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to rest for at least 10 minutes.
