Cover the kebabs in boiling water and leave for 5 minutes. Drain, cool and squeeze out the excess water. Add a few splashes of soya sauce. Prepare a herb and spice rub in a bowl - think paprika, oregano and garlic. Coat each strip with the seasoning mix and shallow fry in a frying pan for 3-5 minutes, turning the strips frequently.

Store in a cool, dry place.
