Rape-seed oil has a well-balanced combination of fatty acids. The organic growing of rapeseed oil requires a large amount of commitment and agricultural skill. Insects are a constant problem for the organic farmer but it is possible to control them without resorting to chemicals. Rapeseed is at the beginning of crop rotation in organic farming. Around 20 seeds grow in one pod and after harvesting the rape-seeds are carefully removed from the pods and immediately dried before being cold pressed once.

Our rape-seed oil is deep yellow with a delicious flavour and a good balance of fatty acids. Our rapeseed oil has a full flavour, but is by no means overbearing. It enhances the taste of your savoury dishes. You will find it good for cabbage, bean, pasta and potato salads, but also to marinade vegetables.
