A Dutch Microbiologist named M. J. Biejerinck discovered one of the oldest forms of plant life on the planet in 1890 and it was scientifically named Chlorella Vulgaris. This superfoods algae is found in several kinds of environment including tropical springs, lakes and rivers. This whole foods green algae is a single celled spherical microorganism varying from 2 to 10 micrometers in size with secured supreme inner nutrients with a tough outer cell wall helping it to survive for millions of years. The only way to access all the main super nutrients inside the cell is to break or crack the cell wall.  Our chlorella powder is cultivated in fresh water ponds in a clean and fresh open-air environment on a South China Sea Island. It is harvested at maximum density after a long period of natural growth. After filtering and purifying, pressure is applied to break the cell walls and release the key nutrients, creating a highly nutritional wholefoods concentrate which is then dried into the finest quality organic chlorella powder.
