Produced using steam distillation whilst the geranium is flowering, our South African Geranium Bourbon Oil has a complex odour which is rosy, fresh, sometimes with nuances of mint, it gently fades into a rich lingering, deep sweet rose, slightly herbal aroma. Our geranium oil is of the 'bourbon type' meaning it comes from the African island of Reunion (formerly named Bourbon), which is where 50 years ago produced half of the world supply, and produces a superior plant to other countries. Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil is commonly used in bath and massage blends to harmonise, balance and comfort during menstruation and menopause. It also helps to relax and soothe overworked minds and balance emotions, among other properties.

For use in perfume blends or for aromatherapy. Apply topically, as a compress, in the bath, directly inhale, or diffuse. May occasionally cause an adverse reaction, please carry out a patch test if you are unsure.
